Free Connection Challenge Activities
Free Connection Challenge Activities
This set of 4 free Connection Challenge activities were developed by the Brightways Learning team to help strengthen such connections during the dynamic conditions brought on by Covid-19. However, they can be used with students any time! They are meant to help support schools and their families with easy-to-follow, fun, and meaningful ways to recognize and understand the values of connections between themselves and others in their world.
Activities include:
ROY G BIV Target Practice - For this challenge, you will play a version of BINGO to target at least one activity that relates to strengthening each color in your Full-Color Web of Support.
Cooking Up Connection - Today, many of us are cooking more meals at home. Who better to ask to teach us about cooking and meals than the caring adults in our lives? Maybe it is a mom, dad, parent’s best friend, neighbor, teacher, grandparent...any caring adult you choose will do!
Treasure Hunt Chain Game - An individual makes a treasure to hide and prompts another to find it. As each hunter finds a unique treasure, they pass along the clue to another hunter. This makes a treasure hunt chain
Full Color Celebration! - Anytime — or saved for the end of the school year— is the perfect time to complete a creative project of your choice that expresses some things you have learned, some ways you have grown, some ways you have connected, and some things for which you are grateful that you gained over the last year.
After checking out, you will receive a link to download the activities.
