What is PHlight Club?

PHlight Club is Brightways Learning's premiere youth-centered event and is an engaging, interactive, and life-changing experience. During PHlight Club, students learn what they need to succeed in school and life, including resiliency, leadership, communication, and other important life skills. View our brief video:

Why should I attend?

At PHlight Club, youth will benefit from learning and practicing "what they need to succeed" in school and life. They will learn the importance of a personal Web of Support and gain the hard and soft skills necessary to turn dreams into realities. They will begin to think about life after school, and how they will access career and post-secondary opportunities. While at PHlight Club, we will be working on:

  • Building confidence, making connections, setting goals, managing stress, increasing self-advocacy, and understanding motivation.

  • Identifying and cultivating each youth's unique special talents, abilities, and characteristics.

  • Connecting students with adults, such as teachers or counselors, to provide the foundation for individual Webs of Support.

  • Learning skills and strategies to boost protective factors, decrease risk behaviors, and mitigate trauma.

  • Adults (educators, parents, school staff, etc.) will benefit from learning strategies for developing supportive relationships with students.
