“I learned that in order to become resilient, I needed to develop a Web of Support with at least 5 caring adults who could guide me. If I had one wish, it would be that every kid could learn about the Web of Support and feel like they belong.”
Kaleidoscope Connect is the service area of Brightways Learning that supports the social and emotional needs of students. Additionally, it equips educators with the resilience and trauma-responsive skills needed to connect with youth and help them thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Each component of Kaleidoscope Connect — youth-centered activities, professional development workshops, and tools for youth — is based on the evidence-supported Web of Support framework. Through the Kaleidoscope Connect components, we support individuals, schools, and communities in effectively implementing and measuring sustainable practices that empower young people to reach their potential and achieve their dreams. We work alongside students and adults to build a network of support that fosters caring and connected schools and communities.
The result? Resilient youth and educators, equipped with the skills, attitudes, values, and confidence they need to thrive amid life's challenges.
