Educators’ Confluence 2022
June 14-15 in Missoula, MT
Are you a K-12 educator feeling a little INSIDE OUT?
Since early 2020, the pandemic has driven us on a perpetual roller coaster. Schools and communities have had to constantly juggle ever-shifting expectations, conditions, and capacities. Human systems - internal and external - are feeling frayed and disconnected. You’ve likely asked yourself some or all of the following questions:
What can we do about it?
Join us at the 2022 Educators’ Confluence where we will blend purpose with play. During this annual experiential event, you’ll get to actively reflect on and strengthen the connection with your emotional and neural systems that support healthy relationships. Regulation plus a strong support system add up to wellbeing. You’ll gain insights into applying strategies that will leave you feeling refreshed, resilient, and excited for the new school year!
You will leave:
Having built new - and grown existing - connections
Better equipped to manage emotions in a healthy way
With a fresh perspective on neuroscience and how it connects to relationships
Understanding how to grow healthy support systems
…And have fun doing it!
Who should attend?

June 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. | Gather at the Silver Park Landing in Missoula
This day will be spent taking a short rafting trip on the beautiful Clark Fork River (weather permitting) to connect with peers, tend to your wellbeing, and learn how to integrate outdoor education into rich and meaningful learning experiences. If river levels or weather do not cooperate, we will create other river experiences in Missoula. Benefits include:
Connecting wellbeing & environmental learning
Why & how we care about our environment
Developing community partnerships & citizen-scientists
Hands-on, real-world, personally meaningful experiences
Weather permitting, we will gather at the Silver Park Landing at 9:00 a.m. and will be shuttled to a Clark Fork River launch site in nearby Bonner, MT. Rafts, paddles, life jackets, and a mid-day meal will be provided. Participants will be responsible for drinking water, sunscreen, and appropriate weather gear.
Cost: $150 per person - REGISTER HERE!
*Note: if you are attending the Confluence as part of a grant, the River event (and extra hotel night) will not be covered by the grant.
